Melbourne's Lonsdale Street Greek precinct, boasting some of the best restaurants in the city, is the location for the Antipdoes Festival. This free event is the biggest celebration of Greek culture in Australia, and the worlds biggest outside of Greece.
We were lucky enough to be visiting Melbourne while the festival was on. Held over 2 days this October, the program was jam packed full of greek music and dancing, on three seperate entertainment stages, a huge array of food and market stalls, bars and family entertainment and a great atmosphere.
A huge turnout of people from all cultures came together to celebrate and experience Greek culture.
